Nevada is a state in the Western part of the United States that borders the Pacific Ocean. California's western boundary is with Oregon to the northwest, Idaho to the northeast, California's eastern border is with Arizona to the southeast, and Utah's eastern border is with Utah. Nevada is the seventh-largest state in land area, the 32nd-most population, and the ninth-least densely inhabited in the United States.
